Progressives have no time for ideology. It's not about freedom. That's liberalism.
Progressivism changed the United States between the late 19th century and the early 20th century. Perhaps you should read up about it? Bernie Sanders is a progressive. Joe Biden and Hillary Clinton are neoliberals. Progressivism is an economic system. It used to be known as a mixed economy in the 50s and 60s. Reagan and Thatcher outlawed it in the 70s, and the the UK and the US has gone south ever since.
So 10% and 6% of women used their bodies sexually in order to make money. What about the other 90% or 94% who didn't? I can assure you that all the women I know did not need to indulge in sex work - including my late mother.
You know something? Maybe the reason you have got nowhere is because you are uneducated and unskilled and you believe the wrong stuff.
The other thing is that there are also men involved in sex work. Have you ever considered that?

What's wrong with sex work anyway? If you're good at it, and you're broke, why don't you offer your services up to women willing to pay for it?
