Tony, my article wasn't about corruption. It was about personal morality. The US is known as a country where people are crooks. I was warned repeatedly not to go to the States. Believe it or not, there have been to es throughout history where most people lived according to moral precepts.

I most definitely grew up in a world where they still existed. In the early 80s, I told my late father that I didn't like capitalism. This was just after Reagan and Thatcher moved to neoliberalism.

I saw the changes. My late father told me they were the excesses of capitalism.

The fact that evil has always existed does not mean that good has never existed.
