To compete means to find the best person at something. It has something to do with ego promotion. So, now, I don't think competitive societies are a good thing.

Some human beings do like to compete. It's in their blood. And I don't think one can eliminate a biological imperative. That's how human beings evolved.

I just don't think you can build a society by only rewarding the winners and letting others die.
