I most certainly don't like being without my phone when going out. I need it to check when the next bus is coming, where the places are I want to go to, and to see if I have done my 10,000 steps yet.

For entertainment, I always have a book with me. So when I go to a coffee shop, I will certainly check to see if there is email or a comment I must reply to, but when that is fone, my book comes out, and I start reading.

I feel naked if I don't have 6 or 12 books next to my bed.

For me, sites Medium, Threads Insta, Twitter, and Facebook serve another need. My brain never stops working or creating. If I don't download what is in it, it would never be still.

I also confess that I have made many friend through the years. You and I met on Whizzly more than a dozen years ago, did we not?

Coincidentally, while I started in the computer world in 1975 (work), I also bought my first computer in 1994 - strictly to write and for the web. There were 3004 websites in existnce, and I was worried how I was going to read them all.
