There is no such thing as a self-hating Jew. I don't hate myself at all. To be honest, outside of mitsvah and tikkum olam, I'm a hardcore atheist - as are many Jews.

Many years ago, I needed a country to go to. I applied to Aliyah, but changed my mind when I realized how aggressively Israeli men chased women. I wouldn't have been able to cope. So I went to the UK instead. No regrets.
