There are several factors involved here - only one of which is climate change. However, climate change involves drought, fires, floods, increased earthquakes, and more.

There are zoonotic dieases which are increasing.

There's nuclear warfare which is coming closer.

There's civll unrest. In the USA, there's now a major shooting every week.

I could go on.

It is not alarmism to point this out. Please understand I am neither liberal, nor conservative, and with progressives now leaning towards woke, I'm not woke either.

I'm a science minded intellectual.

When two or three of these factors come together (and I think there are ten or a dozen, the combined effect for destruction increases many times over.

As I have no power to change these things, I'm just watching it all. At this point, I really don't care much what happens. Humanity has brought this on itself.
