There are probably high level jobs which need some sort of STEM degree. Yes, there is a shortage of those kind of people in the States, so there will be vacancies. However, that's also the fault of the country that refuses to provide the kind of education needed for students to enrol in those courses, plus, of course, many chose not to because of potential student debt.

Saying that there are that many vacancies without indicating what kind of vacancies they are is frustrating to those who cannot find jobs when they don't particularly have that level of expertise.
