There are no more options. There could have been if we'd started 50 years ago. We're now dead in the water. It is what I started my site to survive climate change. We might be extinct within 80 years. Everything points that way.

Here's the future as I see it.

1. Weather is going to become increasingly destructive over the next six years. By 2030, we will have, at least, one major city, destroyed through either floods, fire, or wind. That's when the big wake-up call will happen.

2. An increasing number of insurance companies will go out of business, or they will refuse to insure acts of god.

3. More and more people, some who previously lived very well, will suddenly find themselves without jobs, income, homes, etc. Once they face that kind of hardship, their perspective will change.

4. There will be increasing pressure on governments to do things. Crime will rise. Violence will increase. (Check the Pentagon's predictions from 15 years ago). More countries will go to war against each other.

5. More and more people will move north in order to escape the heat. I've lived in countries that have 42 degrees (C). It's not pleasant, and it's a death penalty to the kidneys.

6. Global trade will decrease as weather events will make both the sea and the air unsafe.

7. Food will become scarce as farming is destroyed through unseasonal weather, fire, floods, etc.

This is all obvious.

If I were dealing with people who had funds to invest, and who were half way intelligent and benevolent, I would suggest the following.

1. Start investing in hydroelectricity.

2. Start investing in indoor, redlight farming for food. Do it locally so that every area has a food supply.

3. Begin to build homes and communities in relatively safe areas. Forget the profit motive. Cover costs, and start moving people. Those who are willing to move, anyway.

Of course, I fully understand that there are a lot of people out there who won't see something because they don't want to see it.

I gave up.

I now only write for those of us who understand what is coming and are willing to take precautions.
