There are different degrees of socialism. Throughout the 50s and 60s, all the western countries had mixed economies (democratic socialism). I have just moved to Germany. I don't have a high enough income to support myself. I have never worked here, but I am a German citizen. They are going to pay my rent and provide me enough of an income to live on.

Germany works very well. It is the third largest economy in the world.

I suggest you get an education.
