There are 8.3 billion people in the world, of which 300 million life in the USA. I was born and bred in Africa, and with respect, boomers there (and boomers in the rest of the world) did not do what boomers (supposedly) did in America.

Also, if you stop listening to the loudest voices, you will note that the silent generation were the one's that instigated it - not the boomers.

As for 'oppression,' please don't make me laugh. I have lived in America, and there is most certainly a classist system (as there is in the UK and in India). However, oppression?

Nope.

If you want oppression under apartheid South Africa or in the Middle East as a woman in a Muslim regime. Having people dislike one, not employ one, etc, is not oppression - it's the outcome of a classist society.
