The word 'a-gnostic' means without knowledge (of god). The word 'a-theist' means without god. To be agnostic means that you don't have sufficient knowledge to know whether there is a god or not. So they don't believe in god anymore than atheists do. Atheists are also agnostic. They are quite willing to believe in god if there is any evidence that there is a god.
Theists differentiate between agnostics and atheists because they think that agnostics will at least listen to them. They are wrong. An agnostic will no more believe in a god than an atheist will. My late father said he was agnostic. He certainly didn't believe in gods.
No atheist claims that there is no god as fact. They claim it because there is no evidence for a god. They're quite willing to believe in god. At the moment, saying that there is a god is the same as saying there is an invisible elephant in the room, or saying that there is a pixie sitting on the tap, and them claiming people can't say that there isn't, because they can't prove that there is not an invisible elephant in the room or there is not a pixie sitting on the tap. One cannot prove a negative.
You say, " To announce as fact, with such confidence, that the supernatural or mystical experiences of so many people are delusional when you have been on this earth for such a short time does not reflect the lack of subjectivity you claim to promote."
I've had many experiences that are difficult to explain in terms of evidence needed. I've written quite a few stories about them in my 'over the top' magazine.

Precisely because I cannot explain them, I do not try. Just because we do not understand them does not mean that we can interpret them in some sort of ideological belief. Just because theists chose to explain their lack of understanding as 'being god' does not mean that there is a god.
