The thing I don't like about it is that it is 50% American politics, of which 90% are Democratic. If you know my writing, you know I've been writing about government for a long time. The thing is, as I realize now, it was interpreted as Democratic, and I have never been a liberal. My actual values are conservative - in the old fashioned sense of the word.
The fact that I prefer a mixed economic model, want a fair government and many other things that lean towards what Democrats want is coincidence. It's the other stuff that I want nothing more to do with.
So I don't know that I will grow a readership on Substack. I am, pleasantly surprised that in a month, I have gained 60 followers. I was expecting to get maybe a few hundred in a year and a half, and that's about it.
I no longer write about climate change and politics.
