The problem for every home having its own is the lack of frequency of use. We cannot afford to manufacture these items for every person.

Right now, we are using up our natural minerals on this earth so rapidly that we will run out of them and there will be nothing left for our children's children.

What is wrong with people having more time on their hands (like a 20 hour work week) and visiting some sort of maker centre that caters to everybody? In a small town, maybe there's one. In a big city, maybe there are a 100. I don't know. The reason they are in every city is precisely so that long range transport isn't a requirement.
