The post wasn't about intelligence, so, no we haven't spoken about this before. The post was about my inability to handle people with a particular belief system.

That said, I look for ethics and inteligence in people. I value ethics because people who live ethically do not harm other people. And I value intelligence because it means people have the ability to work things out logically.

I'm glad you feel content and happy. Obviously you're in a sufficiently good position to be content and happy. I'm betting that if you were homeless on the streets, with no friends, no family, and no food, you wouldn't feel content and happy. And then it would matter very much to you about who has more than you do.

Your level of comfort does not speak for most of humanity.
