The irony is that at the beginning of last year, a friend of half a century turned and said, "Tessa, you have to stop speaking about this climate change bs and the pandemic is not going to happen."

She was adamant that I'd been going on about it for years and I was mistaken. Weeks later, Covid went viral and over the past 18 months, storms, floods, fires have demonstrated climate change.

I mentioned her comment to her about six months ago. She said, "Well, I didn't know."
