The interesting thing about those figures is that in order to make them sound that dreadful, one has to water down western countries with the figures of countries like Muslim dominated countries. I think it would be more honest to say that the situation is different in different countries.

Next, I don't think any women in any western country has anything to moan about. She has every opportunity to be single for the rest of her life, have nothing to do with men, open her own business, educate herself to any level she wants to work towards, and drink as much alcohol or eat as much cake as she likes.

The fact that women don't do this is really a reflection that they don't want this. They do want a man in their lives. They don't necessarily want to open their own business. They would be happy with doing just a good job at decent pay.

To think that is only the position of women is wrong. Living in Africa, many African men get paid very little. White women get paid a lot more.
