The first time I joined Linked in, I had some 800,000 connections. I couldn't figure out the pont of the site, so I left. I signed up twice more, the third time because I needed to see what people said about themselves and who they were, but I evnetually closed that last account as well. I will never sign up again.

I suppose the bottom line is that I will never look for work. I have been too traumatised working for other people, and it makes me very, very unhappy. I prefer to just write and if it does well, I earn something, and if it doesn't, I just keep trying until it does.
