The Ethics of Beauty and Work on Planet Earth
Our priorities are wrong! Mankind has lost its way.
There are homemakers and homemakers. Some people come home from work, beyond exhaustion, and over a period of time, the wellness and beauty of their homes degrade into just an untidy, messed-up sleeping place. Others, tired as they may be, spend a fortune on buying the latest trends to make their homes fit the current fashion narrative. Still others, find meaning in their homes, and regardless of their individual state, over a period of time, do the painting, the fixing, the small things that make their homes a safe, peaceful, and beautiful haven of rest.
On a broader scale, the earth is our home, and once more, we have a variety of people. There are those people who trash our earth, with no consideration that it is the home of a myriad life forms. There are those people who build all sorts of things, mostly with an eye to profit and little concern for the world around them (the exception, strangely enough, is China). Then there are those people who focus on their small bit of the world — weed their gardens, buy an island and repopulate it with natural species, or grow a forest on barren land.
