The best thing you can do for your children is teach them the skills they are going to need to survive. Also, find a place where they will be protected from floods and fire, and where is a source of water and food can be grown.

For the record, I dont' travel for fun. i don't go on vacation. I have traveled strictly in order to find a country to live in - a home. My eco-print has always been very small.

The total flights I've made since 2014 are:

From San Diego to Boston, and Boston to Scotland in 2014.

From Scotland to Spain in 2015, and then onto South Africa.

Form South Africa to London in 2020 in order to sort out stripe and my bank so that I could be paid on Medium. Got caught in Covid. In 2021 to Germany as it is the only country I could go to because of my German passport. Unofrtunately, I don't speak German, so I moved to Portugal because it was cheaper.

My daughter flew from Houston to stay with me for four months in late 2021 and decided to stay, only we needed to be in an English speaking country so that she could work. So we flew in May 2022.

This is our last stop.

My travel has never had anything to do with vacation. It has always been a desperate search for survival.
