The article was in reference to the Texas Legislature passing a law that Texans no longer needed a licence to carry a gun. So maybe you need to get up to date?

The major point (that you appear to miss) is that America has more deaths caused by gun violence than any other first world country.

https://www.npr.org/sections/goatsandsoda/2019/08/05/743579605/how-the-u-s-compares-to-other-countries-in-deaths-from-gun-violence?t=1622911007030

https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-41488081

America has a gun death rate of 12.21 per 100,000. Out of 196 countries, it is 8th from the bottom in terms of gun deaths.

The only other countries ahead of America in terms of gun deaths per 100,000 are:

Columbia

El Savador

Eswatini (Swaziland)

Gwatemala

Honduras

Jamaica

Venezuela

For someone who so smugly tells me how crime free America is and how few gun deaths there are, you are sure ignorant about just how many gun deaths there are compared to other countries. Even Mexico has fewer gun deaths per 100,000 than America. And Israel has 1.38 gun deaths per 100,000.

Not only is your ignorance appalling, but for a fish to judge the ocean by the size of its goldfish bowl is rather arrogant, don't you think?
