That's not what dying. What is dying is western secular examination of facts, and it is being replaced by superstition, mysticism, and all the things that lead to the dark ages.

I have no problem with materialism. We live in a material world. What I have an issue with is the abuse of materialism. I have a problem when materialism harms our natural environment. I have a problem when people die because, for some people, materialism means excessive materialsm.

I have just as much of a problem with spirituality, mysticism, and religion. They're all based on false premises, and they also lead, eventually, to the dark side.
