That's my interpretation. I recall when I was living in San Diego and working as a ghostwriter, I used to be approached by all these people who had these 'great' ideas for a novel, or they had a fabulous life story that was going to be a bestsller, etc.

The kicker came when they told me that they didn't want to pay me, but that I would get a small percentag (about 5%) of the loyalties when they were paid. They did not understand why I was refusing such a good deal.
