That is insightful. It comes back to being careful what we wish for, what we desire, etc. We don't know all the possible outcomes.

For the past 6 momths, I've been trying to figure out where we are headed. Looking back over the past 10 years, there have been do many wild cards, covid, trump, insurrection - who would have foreseen all this 2 decades ago.

Whereas a decade ago, when I was trying to see possible outcomes, one didn't have to factor in wild cards. Now one does. And that scares the hell out of me.
