That is complete and utter rubbish. The Muslims forced them to pay taxes and obey sharia law. That was the only way they could live under the Ottoman Empire. The 'Christian' church created many different inquisitions and gave them the choice of converting to Christianity or dying. This was the Roman Catholic church.
