That is complete and utter bullshit. I was taught that bullshit at school in the late 50s and early 60s, and I have seen the quality of life decrease since that time universally.

Society most definitely does NOT reward excellence. There is a reason that 20% of CEOs are psychopaths - full blown ones. Society currently rewards the scum of hte universe - anyone who can make money in any way possible. Every single bit of research has indicated that the economic system you are supporting does not work well and produces radical inequality, climate destruction, etc. . You've swallowed propaganda hook, line, and sinker.

The people who are doing the producing aren't gaining the rewards. The people who are gaining the rewards are the ownership class - equivalent to modern slavery. Same old. Same old. It's been the system for millennia, and it's time it changed.

Your definition of communism is demonstrative of your ignorance. The wildly successful cooperatives like Mondragon in Spain and many in America are all communist models. Mondragon employs something like 84,000 people internationally and has been going for 70 years. CEOs are not permitted to earn more than 5 times what the people at the bottom are, and it does very well. In fact, profit is forbidden.

I work all day. So does my sister. We are retired. We don't earn any money for working. You need to redefine what you think work is. And you need to associate with a better class of people.
