The problem with decentralizing social media is that when one wants all one's friends on one social media page, they aren't.

I saw that with Google Plus. And numerous other smaller social media platforms. Everybody was on facebook, and they weren't going to move.

I personally think that Google Plus was the best social media ever, but after trying out several smaller, more independent ones, I gave up and returned to facebook. That's where everybody I know is.

I have no idea what the big deal is about privacy, etc. I don't put private information on the internet, and I am completely obvlious to advertisign. It's probably impossible to influence me.
