Thank you for mentioning the saturation point, and the fact that you can write every day and get nowhere. For the record, I've written for many sites since 1994 (when I joined the web), and it was a helluve easier (well, until Panda hit).

I do write primarily for money, and unless one has a very large following on Medium, and one writes about a small range of topics that Medium writers appear to like, one is going nowhere.

I have written quite a few article about this. There are ways around it. Medium has a god page ranking on Google, and if one understands SEO, that can work to one's advantage.

Interestingly, my article about the bad news about Medium has been doing quite well. I suspect that your article will do 10 times better than mine, though. My poin t is simply that a lot of people are asking why they aren't doing well.
