The general advice given on how to write successfully on Medium is generally based on what worked two to five years ago. The algorithm has changed.

Writing everyday does not change the quality of one's writing. Yesterday I read someone who charged $500 for a course. I read through her articles.

1. All had 3 longtail keyword phrases in their title.

2. All had a hook in their title.

3. All articles were on topics that people would want to read but little was written about.

That's about it. Nothing to write home about in the actual articles. If anything, they were waffle.
