Sorry, that is absolutely not true. Along with many writers I know on this site, we publish in numerous places, and have been doing so for between 10 and 20 years. We have come to be very careful about publishing only in one place. When that platform goes down (and they all eventuallyd o), then one loses everything.

I publish in multiple places. So do all the writers I have gotten to know during the last decade.
