Sorry, not true in this case. I am still in touch with all my school friends (class of 69). Not a single issue like this has ever emerged. It simply does not exist in my generation. Yes, some turned out to be gay. And I had a pedophile stepfather who was jailed. We knew about trans people, but this has nothing to do with that.

Right now, America has 50% of people with mental illness. Again, this was rare when I grew up (in Africa). I am70, and if any of us had some sort of mental illness or abberation, I think we all would have known about it.
