Sorry, I don't agree. I have worked every day of my life since I was able to walk - I am now 70. I recall trying to find a way of walking from Hillcrest in San Diego to the Target shopping centre. It wasn't far if you were a crow and could fly. If I had to walk, I had to go the long way round. So I took it.

When I discovered that Houston had no sidewalks for many of its streets, it was a disaster, so I just walked anyway - in the bush, through the mud.

What is true is that one loses out in other areas because it's not possible to do it all. And, yes, I was a single mother without any support from anyone else.
