Sorry, I am not American, and this has nothing to do with either left wing or right wing. It has to do with the emotive responses, without thought or understanding, of various concepts. For instance, cancelling J K Rowling and other people who disagree with a stance (that I and many others agree with) is both aggressive and irrational.

There is absolutely nothing aware about what is goiing on with 'woke.' I have been politically aware of injustcie for my entire life, and this has nothing to do with it. It is, in my opinion, thre response of a child throwing a tantrum when they can't get their own way.

Empathy is not a state of awareness. It is a feeling. One can be aware of the suffering of other people and not have any compassion for them at all.
