Soory, I meant mixed economy.
It was less demonized everywhere. I am a dual South African / German citizen, and when I was at school in the 50s and 60s, the word 'socialism' was not a swear word. You might not be fond of the term 'mixed socialism,' but that is the correct political term, and that is the term that was used.
