Some Reviews in My About Section
This is a bit unorthodox, and I’m not really into sharing this sort of thing, but…
I updated my ‘about section’ because I want to clear up some mistaken impressions about who I am.
There are many writers on Medium, and some will tell you how successful they are, how many readers and followers they have, and then want you to pay them money to sell you a writing course. To my mind, these aren’t writers. They are simply using the medium of writing to sell you something. They are marketers, copywriters, or commercial writers — call them what you will.
While it’s true that I haven’t earned anything near that sort of money, it’s because I can’t bring myself to put myself out there.
I have been writing and published my entire life — since 1962. During that time, I’ve collected tens of thousands of reviews, fan mail, and comments about my writing. About 99% of it is positive.
So I thought I would share some of those with you in the link below.
