So what you are saying is mostly confirmed, but it also confirms what I say. You see the difference is this. Liberals believe that if one commits evil like theft, murder, rape, etc, it is always the outcome of circumstances - too poor, bad childhood, etc. Although I am not a conservative, I take the conservative stance - that it is the result of poor character.
I say that because I have personal solid experience of extreme poverty, and nowhere did I steal or murder or commit crimes. Nor did my grandparents and their 11 children. Nor did any holocaust victim.
Those things are part of their culture, and that is something that I firmly believe, and you don't.
I tried to go live in Germany. Despite being a German national, after three months I gave up. The degree of bureaucracy was stunning. I have never encountered anything like that in my entire life - and I have lived in many countries.
That said, are all politicians nuts? Why do they expect tens or hundreds of thousands of people to come into their own country, and to not have a problem? These people can't speak the language, have a completely different culture, cannot work as a result of either a lack of qualifications, and there is no accommodation or means of livelihood for them.
Do you honestly think that the general public, especially those dependent on benefits, and who can't afford to have their things stolen, aren't going to realize what is happening?
The far-right is a direct outcome of people not wanting to lose what they have. This doesn't affect the rich or those who are stable in their jobs. It affects the poor (in all countries). They are the ones who are mostly the victim of crime.
I have seen this same issue is every single country I have lived in. The rapid input of others does several things. If it's the rich retiring in various countries, it sends the prices of property up, and locals begin to suffer. So the far-right begins to suffer. If its those from third world countries, their culture is vastly different from that of first world countries, and their culture conflicts with the home culture.
Having spent 40 years of my life in the third world, I can assure you that what you think of in terms of 'stemming from poverty' is a misunderstanding of different cultures and their belief systems.
