You're talking about Palestinians. I'm talking about Hamas. I don't know what each and every Palestinian thinks and feels. I don't know what happens to every Palestinian.

The topic is about Gazans - not everybody in Palestine, and this whole conversations is getting sidetracked by people who insist on bringing Palestinians into the picture. While Gazans are Palestinians, Palestinians could actually be living in the West Bank. And that is not under discussion.

I am not defending Zionism. I am against it. As the daughter of a Holocaust survivor and as the daughter of a family that stood against apartheid and had her fingerprints taken because she went to help Nobel peace prize winner, Desmond Tutu, I have always taken the high road.

I am disgusted and horrified about the acts of Hamas. And all you're saying is that we must consider the death of Palestinians? Sorry, it doesn't work that way.

When the ANC went to Nelson Mandela because they wanted their sins covered at the Truth and Reconciliation commission, he denied them that privilege. He said that both sides must admit their sins.

What I see here is that Israel is the sinner, but no mention is made of what Gazans did to have that sort of response. What did you expect to happen when Hamas attacked Israel.

Nobody is claiming moral superiority. What is true is that the west is more powerful because they've had technological superiority for centuries. No country can claim moral superiority. However, there are degrees of evil, and Hamas and Isis etc. have stepped into barbarism and savagery. And Israel just retaliated. It is a terrible situation.

I also don't know what you expect to achieve by your comments. Sorry, nothing you say is going to make me look at the situation in any other way. I'm an independent thinker, and I check everything I write.
