Short of cutting open your brain or being telepathic, I don't see how a 'formal assessment' tells you anything more than a university administered online test. As my daughter pointed out when I asked her about that, "Mummy, the people who assess you use the tests."
That's absolutely true. I had to do these tests and so did my daughter. The people who give them go by them. If you're not borderline, you are probably on the spectrum, or neurodiverse, as they call it now.
My daughter worked with autistic kids for 3 years, so she knows what it looks like in all shapes and sizes.
Suzie, the people who were offended by me weren't offended because I was 'rude.' Many people today don't like truth if it gets at their ego. The better assessment would be that I'm pretty sharp when it comes to reading people, and sometimes people don't like to be read.
What I've had difficulty my entire life is in understanding ego, lies, malice, etc.
