Sherry, no.. You haven't failed. You did the best you could with what you had. Most of us do. However, we've been misled in that we have been encouraged to believe that that what we want will be granted if only we do this or that.

The truth is that most of what we work towards is not achievable. There are only so many prizes to be won, and there are 8 billion people on this planet striving towards the same thing. Unless we grew up with all the cards stacked in our favor, we never stood a chance.

Take it from someone who has spent a life time doiing nothing but fail epically. :)
