Seriously. I dont' recall anyone being interested in my father's writing either. I have friend who wa a bestelling novelist for a while. I've never read her book. I'mnot interested in her career. I'm interested in her. Nor have I ever expected any of my friends to read my work. I couldn't care less if they don't. More to the point, I would be embarrassed if they did.
