Schools aren't supposed to teach kids life skills. They're supposed to teach kids how to earn a living and how to find the knowledge they need.

Parents are supposed to teach kids life skills. This is what parents taught kids in my generation - and it's why I think that feminism, in its idiotic streak to get women to want to work has destroyed far more than it created.

A parent needs to be at home to teach kids all the essential things that you're mentioning. A school is not a substitute for a parent.
