Sad to say, I had an even worse experience with Apple in 2008. Apple kept telling me the problem was me - that I was a PC user trying to use and Apple.
Eventually, I got hold of Adobe to ask them why their software wasn't working on my Apple. They eventually asked to test my laptop, and then they told me that My operating system wasn't working.
The store in San Diego, after I showed them what Adobe had said, gave me a new laptop, but transferred the entire old operating system from the previous laptop onto my 'new' laptop.
The same things happened.
I wrote to Steve Jobs. I'm sure that my email didn't reach him, but it reached someone high enough, and 24 hours later, Apple gave me my money back. I went back to using PC.
