Roger, I'm willing to bet that you had help when you didn't even realize that you had help. You grew up in a first world country. You were given free government schooling. Or you had parents who paid for your private schooling.

You drive on roads that you didn't pave. You drink water from taps you didn't install. You live in a house you didn't build.

People who buy homes for investment purposes are driving up rents. I'm damned sure you have no idea what hard work is, and your view is typical of people who have been indoctrinated to believe that getting up every day to do a job is 'hard work.' No, it's actually normal. It's what all of us do.

And as for blaming other people for our problems, I totally blame conservatives and libertarians for the mess the world is in. Their short-sighted values and their greed have put us where we are.
