Racism is what happened in South Africa - I am South African. It's a legalized system where black people aren't allowed to vote, aren't allowed to be in white areas, etc. OncYese apartheid was gone, because the apartheid industries didn't have a reason to exist anymore, they changed their focus.

Yes, there are cultural biases (and I don't agree with them), but they will always exist because most people are tribal. They are only interestesd in their own kind.

I returned to South Africa for 5 years after being gone for 20 (I am now living in Portugal), and the white dislike of black people is as strong as it ever was. What is interesting, though, is that black people dislike white people just as much. The power, now, however, is in black hands...

People are tribal.

When you figure how to stop that evoluntionary instinct, I would be very happy to hear.
