Probably for the same reason that I don't earn money from my writing. I do not have the capacity to put myself forward. I know I'm a good public speaker, but I put people's backs up when I say certain things.

People do not like their comfort disrupted, nor do they like to look too closely at their ego.

In short, a lifetime of saying things that offend people make me petrified of putting myself out there.
