Point. Let me try to explain. Everybody is always going about about one failing because one has low EQ. About 8 months back, I did three different EQ tests, two with Ivy League universities and I think the other was the Mayo clinic.
It turns out that I have above average EQ for two of them and high EQ for the other one.
When I look at the questions, all those things are covered in other areas - like emotional maturity. The only one that isn't, is the manipulation of people to get things done - leadership.
I guess that is why I don't think it's a valid concept.
