Peter, I don't know what to say. I have always believed that writing has more to do with luck than anything else.

Certainly, one has to write well enough (you do), and one has to have something to write about (you do), but also, it's luck that connects the appropriate reader with the appropriate writer.

For a while I was earning around $2000. After I was suspended, my income dropped substantially. I think I dropped to $400 once. And for the past three or four months I've been around $500. It's not enough to live on, and I haven't been writing much, but I'm surprised that I earned that because I'm nowhere near writing the way I used to.

I've also noticed that my figures are going up, or I think they have been for the past three weeks.

Might I ask you if you have your own magazine?
