Perhaps some statistics will be useful.

Only 23% of Americans use Twitter, and of that, 80% of the tweets come from 10% (2.3%) of the people. For the most part, these people are powerful influencers with money, and they use the belieefs of their readers to manipulate fhem.

For instance, a while back, Musk asked his readers if he should sell some of his Tesla stock in order to pay tax. or something. They all said yes. Musk did not need their advice.

He had made a decision to sell Tesla stock because it was going to fall shortly due to the emergence of other electric cars which were substantially cheaper. Of course, he knew he would be questioned by everybody and it would create a run on Tesla stocks, so he used the idiocy of his supporters to give him an excuse to sell Tesla stock.

I don't know that Elon Musk will list again. I think there is a move to retain social media privately, to base it on subscription, and to eradicate advertising.

Time will tell. I'm just watching.
