One more thing. Writing is my profession. As someone who grew up fighting apartheid in South Africa, I know damned well just how important it is to write about things that are wrong. Writing aobut things that are wrong is NOT a negative. It's a strong positive. It's the only way things get fixed.

And I am dirt poor. In my old age, I would be on the street if it wasn't for my patrons, many of whom have supported me across multiple platforms.

Why?

Because I'm a damned good writer, have absolte integrity, write intelligently, backed sy science and news, and I don't back down if it's going to cost me money. I write, regardless of whether I am penalized - as I have been on Medium.
