One more point. Perhaps, it's the fact that you were a professor once, and now you speak to everybody as if they are your student.

You are not the only one that does this. I've come into contact with it quite a few times. I didn't need a couple of lectures, nor is the solution you offer realistic. If it was, we wouldn't be in the mess we are in.

Sure permaculture works. It's getting nearly 8 billion people to live that way that is the problem. And to get them to live that way within the next few years is virtually impossible.

You offered a solution that won't work because it doesn't scale sufficiently.

You also didn't read between the lines of what I said.

I think, like many professors, you are accustomed to people treating what you say with seriousness and respect. But you also come across as speaking down to me. And I did not appreciate that. You spoke to me as if I'm a student and you're the learned master.
