On the contrary, most people I know are civilized. Colonialism was responsible for many things, and it made a lot of people wealthy. But to think that only countries that were responsible for colonialism are responsible for all the ills of the world, is vastly inaccurate.

The west is also responsible for modern medicine, educating the masses, bringing democracy, computers, irons, electricity, vacuum cleaners, dishwashing machines, and a thousand other things.

I'm a little tired of the racism.

Right now, there isn't going to be much of a world left if people don't give up most of they have. We are going to have to use 25% of the energy we do. We are going to have to give up personal ownership of cars. We are going to have to give up aircon and TV and tumble driers (Fortunately, I don't possess any of these things). The reason is that they all use electricity, and electricity uses fossil fuels.

The floods that have put one third of Florida under water and took out entire towns in Florida a few weeks ago are part of climate change. This will be happening to more and more cities. Houses will be under 30 feet or water, sometimes 60 feet. Millions will drown or be caught up in fire and hurricanes.

There will be droughts and food shortages. We are entering very perilous times.

You will, therefore, forgive me if I'm less concerned with the past attrocities of colonialism than with the fact that our children will live in very difficult times, and that our grandhildren will be facing extinction.

I would rather concern myself with the most important item on the agenda of earth at this moment.

How do we get people to give up the use of all the electricty and fossil fuels they are using?

Of course, I fully understand you're concerned about colonialism.

Have a good life.
